University of Waterloo chooses to use Scheme in Fall 08 for first year CS undergrads instead of Java. More US schools should follow suit.

There is hope atlast, to maintain the science and art in CS instead of just making it another trade.

This semester is kicking my ass - 1 hard class in formal methods, starting my research and starting to be regular at Meyers lab meetings. In addition to job, family etc.

Saturdays always are spent pondering on Physics after attending the lectures in Aggie land - Saturday Morning Physics Group.

I am also starting to think about UI design problems..not that I need more stuff, but it somehow fits with my work (some crimes need justification :)

Some updates when I make significant progress…
